Booking and confirmation

No booking exists until we confirm it in writing. Nothing is paid through this website. Prices quoted are per group, in US dollars, for the vehicle, guide and planning described in the tour page.

What the price covers

Each tour page lists what is included and what is not. Meals, entrance fees and optional tickets are paid by you unless stated otherwise. We will tell you the likely amounts before the day.

Changes on the day

You can reshape the itinerary while the tour is running, within the agreed hours. If the group wishes to continue beyond the booked duration, we will do so where the driver's legal hours allow, charged at the hourly rate agreed in advance.

Circumstances beyond our control

Road closures, extreme weather, earthquakes and transport strikes can change or shorten a tour. Where this happens we will offer an alternative route, a new date, or a refund of the portion not delivered.

Conduct and safety

Guests must follow the guide's instructions on safety, and seatbelts must be worn at all times. We may end a tour without refund if a guest's behaviour puts others at risk.

Liability

We carry the vehicle and passenger insurance required under Japanese law. We recommend you hold travel insurance covering medical costs, cancellation and personal belongings. We are not liable for loss or injury arising from activities outside the tour itinerary.

Governing law
